ADSW: Association of Directors of Social Work

Abstract:

The Association of Directors of Social Work is the professional association representing senior social work managers in local government in Scotland.  It is a membership organisation which aims to promote and protect the interests of social work, social care and the people that use social services. ADSW advises Parliament, Local and National Government on the impact of policy and legislation; assists members and their councils in implementing policy and legislation; develops and promotes best practice and new ways of working; and provides comment and opinion to the media.
