Social Care Online - RSS feeds

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow you to collect information from a range of Websites, as it is added, in a single place. This can be done by downloading a RSS reader to your computer, using a Web-based service or a Web browser which supports RSS.

On Social Care Online, each topic in the topic tree can be selected as a RSS feed. How you do this will depend on the tool you use to view RSS feeds on your computer. Generally you would click on the RSS button next to the topic you require, which will open the RSS feed. You then need to add the address of the feed to your tool by highlighting it or by copying and pasting it into your application.

A typical RSS feed address on Social Care Online would look like this: http://www.scie-socialcareonline.org.uk/rss/poverty.xml.

Using our RSS feeds

If you run your own website, you can display relevant and up to date information from Social Care Online by using our RSS feeds.
